  7. The APWORKS conference is dedicated to the discussion of the APWORKS programs,
  8. that is the programs by Alberto Pasquale of 2:332/504@fidonet.
  9.  
  10. 1) The official language is English, of course.
  11.  
  12. 2) Due to the high number of german nodes linked to the area, occasional use
  13.    of German is tolerated when useful for the discussion and development of
  14.    APWORKS programs (e.g. advice for the translation of documentation).
  15.  
  16. 3) Advertisement of commercial products is prohibited.
  17.  
  18. 4) Announcement of freeware/shareware files is accepted only as far as they
  19.    are useful to users of APWORKS programs.
  20.  
  21. 5) This conference originates on a fidonet node and is currently circulated
  22.    among fidonet nodes, even if this is not a requirement to get a link.
  23.    All messages in this conference must comply with the fidonet policies.
  24.  
  25. 6) The use of this area for illegal purposes is obviously prohibited, with
  26.    particular reference to Software piracy, Copyright infringment and
  27.    disclosure of reserved information.
  28.  
  29. 7) The use of cryptography is explicitly prohibited.
  30.  
  31. 8) The use of publicly available codification programs (e.g. UUENCODE) is
  32.    allowed, as far as the coded file is useful to the APWORKS users and
  33.    obviously not crypted or password protected (and not longer than a few
  34.    KBs, of course).
